Since our founding, Peninsula Engineering, Inc. has provided services for healthcare facilities and developed an excellent relationship with the Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) Office of Plans and Construction. Our professional staff offers sound technical solutions to the 24/7 operating requirements of hospitals and healthcare facilities. PEI completes hundreds of healthcare projects each year and works with AHCA across the state for agency compliance.

Peninsula Engineering, Inc. specializes in healthcare projects ranging in size from 300 sq. ft. to 150,000 sq. ft. Project Scopes include: HVAC, Medical Gas, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Medical Equipment Upgrades, Bed/OR/Department Renovations and Expansions, Additions, Central Energy Plant Design, and New Facilities (Surgery Centers, Skilled Nursing Facilites, etc.).

Our healthcare team has extensive experience in equipment replacement projects that include Air Handling Units, Medical Gas compressors, electrical panels, and elevator upgrades. We strive to provide solutions that address the spacial constraints of new equipment and we work to provide appropriate phasing/temporary plans to maintain operation during those projects.

Our team is also experienced with providing hurricane recovery response and has recently provided field hospital/surge planning for pandemic response.
