What You’ll Do

As an Electrical Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and developing power systems for a variety of exciting projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing electrical power plans, including power distribution, fire alarm, low voltage, A/V, and lighting systems.

  • Performing voltage drop, fault current, and photometric calculations.

  • Developing emergency generator power systems and transfer switch equipment designs.

  • Creating construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships with owners and architects.

  • Coordinating with AHJs and plan reviewers.

  • Conducting site surveys and construction administration tasks.

  • Developing one-line diagrams and estimating electrical service sizes.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Electrical Engineer with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD

  • Strong knowledge of Florida Building Code, NFPA, and other relevant codes

  • Experience with SKM or Easy Power analysis programs (preferred)

  • Familiarity with BIM360 (preferred)

  • Ability to manage diverse projects effectively

  • Basic Microsoft Office skills

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university (required)

  • 3-5+ years of relevant work experience, including internships

  • Project Management Experience (preferred, but not required)

  • Florida PE license (desired)
